SO. Today is December 5th, aka Pakjesavond (gift evening) in the Netherlands!! I’m half Dutch and grew up with this tradition. I’d put my shoes in front of the door every December 4th and wake up to candies and small gifts inside them from Sinterklaas (Dutch Santa) the next morning!! This year I experienced a very adult Pakjesavond, lemme show you what I got and test it out for you. Spoiler: I love it
